The Tampico Stogies cruised to a 7 to 1 victory over the Chainsaw
Proctologists at the ballpark.
Tampico brought 4 runs across the plate in the 5th inning. The big moment was
provided by Ray Durham who thrilled the crowd when he ripped a base-knock
plating two runs. Tampico finished with just 5 hits in the victory.
Al Leiter(3-2) got the win allowing 1 run in 6 innings. Dan Miceli earned his
2nd save. John Thomson(1-4) was tagged with the loss. With this win,
